RUSSELL COLE - CEO
Russell Cole started his career in agriculture by providing world leading farmers with rare and unique soil amendments designed to improve yields and reduce pesticide use. His knowledge and expertise includes outdoor, greenhouse and indoor controlled agriculture. In 2020, his passion for developing proactive solutions for farmers led to the development of AGXactly Crop Insights, a multi sensory data analytics and insights business for farmers of specialty row crops. AGXactly has so far contributed millions of dollars towards its customers’ bottom lines as it continues to grow in the California market with intentions to scale globally.
GRAHAM EVANS - DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Graham is an expert at gathering data and images using drones and specialty sensors to help farmers make informed decisions. He grew up on the Monterey Peninsula and is very involved with the community and served as a firefighter/paramedic for over 16 years before focusing on agriculture. Graham has been very involved with local organizations like the Boy Scouts of America, Future Farmers of America and coaches local sports. He spends most of his time in the fields working face to face with farmers and operations to ensure that they have the information they need to positively affect farming. He has spent the last few years focused on broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce and artichokes.
SKIP CUSACK - CTO
Skip has been building imaging and AI systems for most of his career, often for specialized and autonomous applications. Applying that experience to help farmers provides him a very keen sense of purpose. “the global population is aggressively growing. By 2050 we will need to produce 60% more food to feed 9 billion people, which puts a likely untenable strain on our finite natural resources.” Skip is confident that AGXactly can be a major game changer. “We are the first company to offer quantified crop yield prediction throughout the entire growth cycle of specialty crops. This foresight is invaluable for farming operations. For example, accurate crop yield predictions can assist farmers in fulfilling sales commitments. AGXactly can do this because we’re vertically integrated. We fly our own drones equipped with the latest sensors, monitor multi-spectral satellite data, and use AI technology to translate the data into panoramic insights and reliable predictions.
